- 1744-1794 Frederick Co MD Wills-Russell
- GARAH DAVIS of Frederick Co. Will dtd. 1 March 1764, very sick.
- To son Benjamin: negro George and 125a, with the plantation he dwells on to be laid off at the discretion of Nathan Veatch. To three dau., Elizabeth, Sarah, and Prisciller: one cow each, Prisciller to have a calf with her cow.
- To dau. Mary: mare and two gowns and petticotes to be delivered to her in two years by my son Richard.
- To son Richard: dwelling plantation with all lands adjoining (except what I gave Benjamin), plus all my moveable estate, he also exec.
- Wit:Willim Spiers, Jacob Duckett, Nathan Veatch.

- 1748-1752 Frederick County MD Land Records {Patricia Abelard Andersen}: pg. 328-330. Thomas Case ofFC, planter, recorded 9 Feb. 1750, between Charles Williams ofFC, planter, for 15 pounds sterling, a part of tract caIled "Bealls Manor" beginning at end of Garah Davis' fist line; M&B given, for 100 acres; signed Chas. Williams before Elias Beall, Robert Patricks. On the back of the deed, it was ack. by Charles Williams, and Sarah his wife acknowledged her right of dower to the same, to be likewise the right of the said Thomas Case, before Alex. Beall and Josi Beall. Receipt. 4 shillings alienation fine·paid.

John Beall son of Robert ofPGC, recorded 19 Nov. 1751, made same date, between Garah Davis of Frederick County, planter; for 8000 lbs tob. tract called "John and Elizabeth," part of a tract called "Three Bealls Manner," in "Prince Frederick County," M&B given, for 108 acres; signed Garey Davis by mark D, before John Darnall, John Stone Hawkins, ack. Sarah wife of Garah Davis examined apart released dower. Receipt & AF paid.
