Ellis Co., Printers, 272 Congress Street Page 43 He was a farmer, and first settled at Middlebury, Vt., where he remained but a short time, moved to Fairfield, Vt., in 1805, and from there to Michigan in 1833, but soon went to Wisconsin, where he settled at Round Prairie, at which place he died. He was a highly respected citizen and a man of considerable intellectual ability.
