"Died Sunday December 10 , at 4 o'clock p.m. at her late residence, 509 North Fourth Street, Mrs. Freder icka Kraus, age 82 years. Mrs. Kraus was born in Wurtemburg Germany and came to Springfield thirty-six years ago. She leaves to mourn their loss her son John G. Kraus of West Springfield and four grand children -- August Claus and Jennie Claus Wilkinson of this city, Louisa Snyder of Mt. Pulaski and Charles Hailer of Tabor, Iowa. The funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 12 at 2 o'c lock at 501 North Fourth Street. The internment will me made in Oak Ridge Cemet ery."
