Frederick A. Pearson, 60, of 109 E. 61st St., New York City, a research engineer, died Sunday night at his home following a heart attack. He was a former resident of Great Barrington, Massachusetts.
Mr. Pearson was the husband of the former Elizabeth Stoddert, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Stoddert, 191 S. Franklin St., city, her father being associated in the wholesale grocery business here for many years.
The private funeral will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, New York City.
Mr. Pearson's parents, Fred Stark Pearson, prominent New York City engineer, and Mabel Ward Pearson, were lost in the sinking of the liner, Lusitania.
Surviving, besides his wife, are two sons, Frederick A., Jr., and William A., of Hartford, Connecticut and seven grandchildren.
