The Times Recorder, Zanesville, OH July 18, 1950 Mr and Mrs F H Herron of West Main St had as their guests Mr and Mrs Paul E Herron of Pennsylvania and Dr and Mrs Carl E Lincke of Carrollton, O.

The Times Recorder, Zanesville, OH February 16, 1965 Fred H Herron, 94, of 1114 West Main St died at 5:10 p.m. Friday (February 12) at Good Samaritan hospital after a week's illness. Mr Herron was born in Rich Hill Township, Jan 29, 1871, a son of Fred and Sarah Armstrong Herron. He spent most of his life in the Zanesville vicinity. Mr Herron retired in 1930 trainmaster for Pennsylvania Railroad. Mr Herron was a member of Central Presbyterian Church. His wife, Mrs Grace Evans Herron, died Oct 26, 1957. Surviving are a son, Forrest Herron of 1507 Stanton Ave; two daughters, Mrs Carl (Marie) Lincke of Carrollton, and Mrs Myron A (Esther) Pitcock of 530 Karl Dr; a brother Ernest Herron of Newark; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. A son, Paul Herron, died in 1950.
