BITTORF, Fred, 82, of Alberta Ave., Johnstown R.D. 3, at 9:10 a.m. April 13, 1948, at home. Born in Freeland, PA, Aug. 4, 1865, son of Henry and Caroline (Holland) Bittorf. Retired business man for past eight years. Survived by widow, the former Anna Smith, and these children: Lettie, wife of David Wilson, 561 Wonder St.; William H., married to Elizabeth Mathias, Alberta Ave.; two grandchildren, these sisters, Mrs. Ellen Burnhimer, Kennedy Ave.; Mrs. Elizabeth Springer, Sherman St.; and Mrs. Minnie Broad, Conemaugh R.D.1. Four brothers preceded him in death. Was member of IOOF No. 838, South Fork, for 60 years and of the Johnstown Elks Lodge and Sandy Valley Lutheran Church, Luzerne County
