    FRED DENNIS - Lansing, Formerly of Ovid, died Feb 10, 2001 at the age of 74. He was born in Williamston on Apr 29, 1926, son of Fred & Hazel (Barritt)Dennis and lived in the Ovid area most of his life, wintering in Florida for the pas 11yrs. He was a Carpenter, a Vet of WWII and was active on the Board of the Sunny Grove Mobile Home Park in FL. Fred married to Betty Martens in Ovid on Oct 9, 1948 & she survives him. Also surviving: 2 daughters, Cidny Paterson campbell of Grand Ledge & Deb Parmenter of Lansing; 1 son, Bruce (Sue) Dennis of California; 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: William & Leonard Dennis; 1 sister, Mary Tetzlaff; and a son-in-law, Tom Campbell. Funeral at 11am Thurs Feb 15th at Osgood Funeral Home in St.Johns, with burial at Eureka Cemetery, Rev.Rob McPherson officiating.
