  10. ↑ Frank Varran, who has been ailing so long with throat trouble died Wednesday night in Detroit where he had been for some little time. A masonic funeral was held at the home here Sunday at 2 p.m. Address by Rev. Archie McCallum Whitcomb of Oxford who took charge of the remains. Mr. Varran was a kind affectionate husband and father, a valuable citizen. The family have the sympathy of the community.
    Obituary - Frank Jerome Varran was born in New York City Oct. 24, 1877. He was married to Ethel Fellows in Detroit, Nov. 14, 1900, died at the home of his father in Detroit April 28, 1909, aged 31 years, 5 months and 5 days. He leaves a wife and two children, father and mother and seven sisters. He passed away peacefully and said he believed in God, loved him and was not afraid.
