    Frank H. Paterson, 96, of Greensburg, died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009, in Baldock Health Care Centre, North Huntingdon. Born Sept. 26, 1913, in Blairsville, he was a son of the late Robert and Gertrude (Wiley) Paterson. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an electrician by the former General Tire and Rubber Co., Jeannette. He served in the Navy, and was a member of the American Legion and the Moose. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Katherine Loughner Paterson and Genevieve Feth Paterson; a daughter, Arlene Myers; a grandson, Frank Paterson; seven brothers; and two sisters. He is survived by four children, Frank R. Paterson and wife, Diane, of Roseburg, Ore., Patricia Riticher, of Elizabethtown, Ky., Betty Ellen Mabry and husband, Bobby Joe, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Kathy Filkosky and husband, Robert, of Greensburg; three stepchildren, Gary Feth and wife, Rachelle, of Mt. Vernon, Va., Linda Alexander and husband, Bill, of North Carolina, and Carol Galaski and husband, Matt, of Manassas, Va.; 20 grandchildren, Beth, Elle, Tom, Jim, BJ, Julie, Orin, Frank, Terri, Ginny, Jason, Jeremy, Bonnie Jean, Alicia, Bo, Jon, Brigid, Jackie, Billy and Todd; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Frank from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, 724-837-0020. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Frank S. Podolinski officiating. Interment with full military honors accorded by the VFW Post 33 Honor Guard will follow in Blairsville Cemetery.
