Published in Newspaper - Undated & un-named paper - Frank Maxwell dead in crash - Funeral services will be conducted at Gorsline Mem Funeral Home, Williamston, at 2pm Tures for Frank Gordon Maxwell 51, of 336 W.Chestunt St in Webberville, who was killed instantly late Monday evening in a 2-car head-on collision near Saginaw. According to reports recieved by Howard Gorsline, Mr. Maxwell was attempting to pass an oil tanker on a divided highway near Saginaw, when his car collided with another car going the wrong way on the wrong side of the median. Both drivers were killed instantly. Mr Maxwell was an employee of the Brown Brothers Construction Co of Lansing & a Veteran of WWII. Born in Locke Twp in Feb 3, 1916, Mr.Maxwell had lived in this area all of his live. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Bertha Maxwell of Lansing, 2 sons, Frank Larry of Hillsdale & Leslie D of Lansing, 2 daughters, Miss Joan & Mrs Jacqueline Bloom, both of Webberville; 7 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs Emily Gubry of E.Lansing & Mrs Mary Shorman of Fowlerville; and 1 brother, Lynn of E.Lansing. Services at Williamston Baptist; Burial in Rowley Cemetery
