Frank Litchauer, 77, of 240 Diamond St., Slatington, died Sunday in his home. The Lehigh County coroner's office attributed death to natural causes.
He was the husband of Betty I.R. "Bertha" (Peters) Litchauer. They were married 55 years in January.
He was a carpenter for the Lehigh Valley District Council, United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners, Local 600, Bethlehem, for 40 years before retiring in 1983. He also was a former Lehigh County deputy sheriff.
Born in Packerton, he was a son of the late Michael and Anna (Navartil) Litchauer.
He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Slatington.
Survivors: Wife; son Frank of Fredericksburg, Texas; daughter, Carole A., wife of Donald W. Chaplin of Neffs; brother Joseph in Maine; sisters, Mrs. Anna Frisch and Mrs. Theresa Laufik, both of Northampton, and Mrs. Mary Boreacs of Walnutport; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services: 10 a.m. Thursday, Harding-Fox Funeral Home, 25-27 N. 2nd St., Slatington. Call 9-10 a.m. Thursday.
