Frank E. Laughner, 61, of Vandergrift, died Tuesday, May 22, 2012, in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. Born July 17, 1950, in Apollo, he was a son of Frances E. (Cook) Laughner, of Duncansville, and the late Frank M. Laughner. Frank lived in Vandergrift for most of his life and worked in landscaping and construction. A kindhearted and generous person, he would give you the shirt off his back if you were in need. Frank enjoyed fishing and photography. He is survived by his mother, several cousins and close friends. Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Friday in the CURRAN-SHAFFER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY INC., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo. Funeral services will be held immediately following at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Shallenberger officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Apollo.
