The Birmingham News July 18, 2001 "Henderson, Mr. Frank L., age 90, of Palmerdale, AL., passed away on Monday, July 16, 2001. Born January 15, 1911 to Frank and Mary Yates Henderson in Birmingham, AL. He was a member of Palmerdale United Methodist Church. He was a master mason in Farra McCarty Masonic Lodge and a member of the Shrine. He was retired from the Railroad and Birmingham City Hall. He also served in the U.S. Military. He is survived by his wife, Bessie Ragsdale Henderson; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 19, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at Roebuck Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Robin Scott and Oliver mize officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be David Chasteen, James Ragsdale, Ray Ragsdale, David Price, Robert price, and Bo Sanders. Ridout's Roebuck Chapel directing."
