FRANK E. BOEHLKE SR. Retired mason contractor RAVENA - Frank E. Boehlke Sr., 93, of Hannacroix, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Jan. 10, 2006. Born Sept. 12, 1912 in Grey, Maine, he was the son of the late Paul and Alice Boehlke. He spent most of his life in the Selkirk and Hannacroix area and was a self-employed mason contractor with Anthony Scott of Boehlke and Scott, for 28 years. He was a communicant of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church of Ravena all his life. Survivors include his loving wife of 66 years, Mabel (Clark) Boehlke; four sons, Frank Jr., (Judy); Darrell Sr. (Nancy); Thomas (Doreen), and William Sr. (Georgia); 21 grandchildren, Frank (Tammy) Boehlke, Lisa (Tim) Travis, Shelly (Lance) Benjamin, John Boehlke, Darrell (Laurie) Boehlke, Jennifer (Dennis) Pollicino, Kimberly (Garrett) Wilcox, Thomas Boehlke, Patrick Boehlke, Bill Boehlke, Jr., Jared (Heather) Boehlke, David Boehlke, Chris Boehlke, Nathan Boehlke, Matthew Boehlke, Andrew Boehlke, Joshua Boehlke, Paul Boehlke, Caleb Boehlke, Benjamin Boehlke; 12 great-grandchildren, Samantha and Justin, Ryan and Alysa Travis, Brandon and Chelsea Benjamin, Erika and Drew Boehlke, Dennis, Jacob and Emma Pollicino and Olivia Wilcox; and two brothers, Jerry (Elenor) Boehlke and Martin Boehlke. Frank was predeceased by his daughter Mabel, grandson Timothy Joel, brothers Orville, Chet, Art, Paul, Louie, George, Pat and Lon and sisters Rita and Vina. Funeral services will be held at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Ravena, 9:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 16, with interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Coeymans. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Babcock Funeral Home, 19 Pulver Ave., Ravena, on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006 between 4 and 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, 21 Main St., Ravena, NY 12143. |
