!In the book "Chronicles of Barros" on Page 212 there is a chart showing that Francisco was mayor of Barros for two terms, one from 1887-1889, and one from 1893-1896.

Francisco died at 6:00 am in the morning on 30 October, 1928 in Barros, Puerto Rico. His parents are recorded as Francisco Bou (deceased), of Spain, and Delores Arroyo (deceased), of Caguas. His wife was Enriqueta Santana, of Barranaquitas. Three surviving children are listed as Francisco, Enrique, and Delores Bou y Santana. Francisco was 85 years old at death. The cause of death was cancer of the lower jawbone. The death was registered with civil authories at 9:00 am in the morning on 30 October, 1928.
