In the name of God Amen I Francis Yerrow of Northend in the Parish of Burton Dassett in the County of Warwick Yeoman being in good health of body and of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding (praised be God for the same) Do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner following, that is to say, Imprimis I Give and bequeath to my dear Wife Dorothy the Feather Bed, Bedstead, Flowered Curtains [...] and other furniture thereto belonging now standing in the Chamber of my now Dwelling House [...] together with all the Furniture in the said Room and also [...] of my Leather Chairs which she shall [...] four pair of my best Sheets, two of my best Table Cloths, four of my best Pillow Covers, one of my little [...] Tables and […] here own purpose use and benefit. Item I give and bequeath unto my son John Yerrow the sum of One Hundred Pounds and to my Daughter Ann (the Wife of George Watts of Tachbrook in the said County of Warwick Yeoman) the sum of One Guinea to be paid to them respectively by my Executor hereinafter named out of my personal estate within three calendar months next after my decease. I also give and bequeath unto my said son John Yerrow all the Goods and Furniture in the [...] of my said Dwelling House called the [...], together with all my Pewter which is marked with the Letters (?) J Y and also four pair of Sheets, four Pillow Covers, the largest [...] Pottage Pott, and six [...] Chairs marked with his Letters J Y. [...] and for his own proper use and benefit. Item I Give and Bequeath unto my son in Law the said George Watts and Nephew Thomas Maycock of Avon Dassett in the said County of Warwick yeoman and the survivor of them and to the Executors and Administrators of such survivor the sum of Seventy Pounds to be raised and paid to them by my Executor hereinafter named and of my Personal Estate within six Calendar Months next after my Decease. Upon this special Trust and Confidence nevertheless that they the said George Watts and Thomas Maycock or the survivor of them or the Executors or Administrators of such survivor do and shall as soon as conveniently may be after they shall have so received the said sum of twenty pounds as aforesaid put place and contrive the same out at Interest upon Government or other sufficient security and pay the Interest thereof as it shall become due and be by them received unto my Daughter Dorothy (the wife of Job Wilson of Rowington in the said County of Warwick Yeoman) during the Term of her Natural life for her own separate use independent of her Husband and not subject to any of his Debts or Controul and I do hereby direct that the Receipt and Receipts of my said Daughter Dorothy notwithstanding her Covertures shall from time to time be sufficient Discharges to my said [...] for the moneys so to be paid to her by them as aforesaid and from and immediately after the Decease of my said Daughter Dorothy Then I do hereby Order and Direct that they the said George Watts and Thomas Maycock or the survivor of them or the Executors or Administrators of such survivors shall call in the said sum of Seventy Pounds so by them put out and the Interest then due for the same and after deducting and retaining to themselves a reasonable sum thereout for their necessary Trouble and Expences in the Execution of the Trusts hereby in them reposed, pay and apply the Money then remaining in their Hands in manner following (that is to say) One half part thereof unto and amongst all and every the Children of my said Daughter Ann Watts In equal shares and proportions and the other half part thereof unto and amongst all and every the children of my said Daughter Dorothy Wilson share and share alike Item (after payment of all my just Debts, Funeral Expences, Charges of proving this my Will and the Legacies and Bequests above mentioned ) I give and Bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature kind or sort soever unto my Eldest Son William Yerrow his Executor Administrators and assigns to and for his and their proper use and benefit Charged & Chargeable nevertheless and I do hereby charge the same with the Payment of the Sum of Fifteen Pounds a year of Lawful Money of Great Britain unto my said Wife Dorothy for and during the Term of her Natural life by four Quarterly Payments in the year (that is to say) Lady Day, Midsummer, Michaelmas and Christmas the first payment to begin and to be made at the next of the said days of Payment which shall first happen after my decease But in Case any or either of the said Quarterly Payments shall be behind and unpaid by the space of ten days next after either of the said days of Payment whereon the same shall be due and ought to be paid as aforesaid (being lawfully demanded) that then and from time to time as often as such default shall be made it shall and may be lawful to and for my said wife Dorothy or her Assigns to enter upon all or any part of the said Personal Estate so Bequeathed to my said son William his Executors Admin and Assigns as aforesaid to distrain the (?) distress and distresses then and there taken(?) from time to time to lead drive carry away and impound, and the same so impounded to sell and dispose of according to law until she shall be paid and satisfied all means which shall be then due in respect of the said yearly sum of fifteen pounds together with all necessary Expences occasioned by the non payment thereof and the Distress or Distresses taken for the same and lastly, I do hereby make nominate and appoint my said son William Yerrow sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking, all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. In witness whereof I the said Francis Yerrow the testator have to this my last will and testament contained in two sheets of paper set my hand and seal to each sheet this fifth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty nine.

Codicil:
Whereas I Francis Yerrow of Northend in the Parish of Burton Dassett in the County of Warwick Yeoman have in and by my last will and Testament in writing bearing date the fifth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty nine Given and Bequeathed unto my son-in-law George Watts and my nephew Thomas Maycock (as therein described) and the survivor of them and to the Executors and Administrators of such survivor the Sum of seventy pounds to be raised and paid to them by my Executor thereinafter named out of my personal Estate within six calendar months next after my decease upon the several trusts Intents and Purposes therein mentioned Now I the said Francis Yerrow do hereby order and direct that instead of the said sum of seventy pounds, the sum of sixty pounds only shall be raised and paid by my said Executors to my said Trustees upon the Trusts mentioned in my said Will, any thing therein contained to the contrary thereof in any wise notwithstanding In Witness whereof I the said Francis Yerrow have to his present Codicil which I devise maybe amended to and taken as part of my said last will and testament I set my Hand and Seal this tenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy one
