Francis Poindexter was a witness. [Surry County, NC DB C:411] 14 Feb 1787 - Thomas Pettit to Zachariah Martin for £500. S side Yadkin. Wit: William Hughlett, Francis Poindexter, Martin Armstrong, Jr. [Surry County, NC DB C:446] 9 Aug 1788 - Joseph Williams, Francis Poindexter & wife Jane, Executors of Estate of Robert Lanier dec'd to Alexander Douglas. [Robt Lanier by bond dated 21 Nov 1783 obligated to make deed to sd Douglas & failed to do so] 85 acres adj Sate & Lankaster. Signed: Joseph Williams, Francis Poindexter, Jane Poindexter.
