A worthy fellow and one of the few instances of a prosperous merchant retiring at the right time. He is of the land of "steady habits" and cousin of the very distiguished Prof. O., of Yale. Made his money in the firm of Peter Remsen & Co. Married a fair widow not fifty miles from St. Mark's Church.
