OBITUARY - DIED
At his residence in Mill Grove on the 15 of March, 1894, Mr. F. T. Collins, age 52 years and 11 days. He united with the M.E. Church in 1881 and lived a devoted follower of the Lord until death called him away. He leaves a faithful companion, four children, and a host of friends and relatives to mourn his departure. But we mourn not as those without hope. Although we miss him greatly here on earth, we know he is at rest in that blest haven, free from sorrow, toil and pain, basking in the glorious presence of his Redeemer. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to his dear ones in their hours of bereavement. The funeral services were conducted by Rec. C. C. Luce at the M.E. Church of Mill Grove. His remains were interred in the Coon Cemetery, by the side of loved ones who had gone on before.
Weep not loved ones,
For I have while before
To meet our darling children,
On that bright eternal shore.
