Frances Weaver was baptised on 18th December 1803 at Hough on the Hill in Lincolnshire, daughter of Francis Weaver and his wife Charlotte.

On 17th May 1824, aged 20, Frances married Charles Ingram at Wilsford, about six miles east of Hough on the Hill. Her older brother Charles was one of the witnesses to their marriage.

Frances and Charles settled in Wilsford after their marriage, having seven children baptised there between 1824 and 1845, although the eldest died as a baby. Each census from 1841 to 1871 finds Frances and Charles living in Wilsford with some of their children or grandchildren, and with Charles working as an agricultural labourer.

Charles died in 1879, aged 78.

The 1881 census finds Frances living alone in Wilsford, working as a knitter of wool. It would appear that she later went to live at Sproxton in Leicestershire, where her daughter Ann lived. Frances died at Sproxton on 5th May 1886, aged 82.
