Frances Eleanor MCNAIR was born 21 mar 1862 in Blythswood, Glasgow. She was known as F. Eleanor McNair and, in a letter dated 1918, Ella McNair of Clyde View, High Craigmore, Rothesay, Isle of Bute. She corresponded with Sophia Spens Black, Margaret Barton Kinnear nee McNair and Stuart McIntosh nee Bell (b. 1842). Frances Eleanor died 12aug1920 (gravestone, M. Rahbek). She died before 1930 (family letters).
