Comment on No 2429. HACKETT. W. B H., Feb. 4, 1931.
Since this note was published, I personally hunted through the Old Proprietors Records at Taunton, Mass., and found a copy of a deed of gift executed by Jabez Hackett on Aug. 18, 1686, in favor of his wife, Frances, giving her "my house wherein I now dwell, all my cattle and all my movables.”
In a deposition of Jabez Hackett, dated Taunton, July 2, 1669, he stated that he was aged forty-flve years, so he was born about 1624; and in a deposition dated Taunton, 1686, Frances Hackett stated that she was fifty-four years old, therefore born about 1632.
Has anyone an unplaced Frances born about 1632, possibly of Lynn or Taunton?
