At the family residence on Piety Hill, about 2:30 p.m., December 7, 1886, Mrs. Frances Mary Patton, wife of T. McF. Patton, aged 47 years. The funeral will take place at 10 o'clock a.m. tomorrow. Weekly Oregon Statesman, Dec. 17, 1886, 6:1

Mrs. PATTON's Funeral--A large concourse of friends assembled in the M. E. Church yesterday morning, to attend the funeral services of Mrs. T. McF. Patton. An eloquent sermon was delivered by Rev. P. S. Knight, and remarks were made concerning the deceased by Rev. J. W. Harris. The floral decorations offered as a tribute to the memory of Mrs. Patton were very beautiful. The pallbearers were Z. F. Moody, R. P. Earhart, E. B. McElroy, J. W. Crawford, L. E. Pratt, S. Farrar, W. N. Ladue, and J. M. Martin. An extended article on the life of Mrs. Patton will appear in tomorrow's Statesman, being unavoidably crowded out of this issue.
