Bio: Frances L. WilhelmSpringdaleFrances L. Wilhelm, 76, of Springdale, died Monday (Feb. 23, 2004) in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Harrison. Born Aug. 11, 1927, in Springdale, she lived in the Valley all her life. Mrs. Wilhelm was a member of St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, Springdale, where she was a member and officer of the Mothers Club, Ladies of Charity and Catholic Daughters of America. She also was a member of the Springdale Volunteer Fire Department and Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliaries, both in Springdale, and was a den mother with the Springdale Cub Scouts for many years. Survivors include three sons, Donald J. Wilhelm Jr., John J. Wilhelm and Kevin M. (Angie) Wilhelm, all of Springdale; four daughters, Donna Jean Harmon, Mrs. Cynthia (Scott) Stresky and Mrs. Cathy (Wayne) Mager, all of Springdale, and Mrs. Lynn (John) Myers of Karns City; 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul Bocko of Florida; and a sister, Helen Mignogna of Latrobe. She also is survived by friend of her son John, Leslie Dye, friend of her daughter Donna Jean, Bill Miller; and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Wilhelm of Uniontown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Wilhelm; her parents, John and Vincka Mitas Bocko; three brothers, Clem, Albert and Steve Bocko; two sisters, Mary Krajci and Margaret Moody; and three siblings in infancy. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Wednesday in SPRINGDALE at CHARLES B. JARVIE FUNERAL HOME INC., 801 Pittsburgh Street. Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Alphonsus Church by the Rev. George Saladna. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Dorseyville.
