MCSHAN: Roswell Daily Record: Funeral services are scheduled for 3pm today (7 Oct 1974) for Fowler B McShan, 81, of 1616 N Missouri who died Saturday who died Saturday at St Mary's Hospital of natural causes. The services will be conducted from LaGrone-Ingram Funeral Chapel with Rev John J Fourie of the First Christian Church officiating. Burial will be at South Park Cemetery, under the direction of LaGrone-Ingram Funeral Chapel. Special music for the services will be provided by Mrs Odessa Boris, organist and Mrs Zoeann Milner, soloist. McShan was married to Billie Bledsoe on 2 Aug 1919 in El Paso, Tx. He was a member of the Methodist Church and the Veterans of World War Pallbearers will be Glenn Coffey, E. B. Hall, Wilburn Johnson, Loyd London, Tom Thornton Jr, and Moody Warmath. Missouri Dr. John H. Parrott, pastor of the First Baptist Church will officate for services. Special music will be provided by Ralph Kayler soloist, and Mrs Odessa Borris, organist. Burial will be in South Park Cemetery under the direction of LaGrone Funeral Chapel. Mrs McShan died at 11:45 am Tuesday at St Mary's Hospital. She was born Dec 10, 1896, in Ardmore Okla, the daughter of Mr & Mrs William Bledsoe. She was married on Aug 2, 1919 in Brady Texas to Fowler B McShan, Sr. Mrs McShan, a housewife had resided in Roswell 42 years. She is survived by her husband; two sons, Fowler B McShan Jr, of Albuquerque and Ira Y McShan of Roswell; two daughters, Mrs Amos J Higgins and Mrs Roy C Frazor, both of Roswell, one brother C. E. Bledsoe of Boise Idaho; 13 grandchildren; and six great great children. One son, Dorman B McShan, preceded her in death in 1957. Serving as pallbearers will be Cecil Graves, Pete Kling, Don White, Odell Keller, Moody Warmath, Alfred Higgins, Willburn Johnson and Loyd London. She was buried at South Park Cemetery on 2 March 1973, in Section 36, Block 5, Lot 4, space 5. DATE 28 May 2003 References
