"Curl
Floyd J. 'Joshua' Curl, 70, of Rt. 1, Rutledge, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, at East Tennessee Baptist Hospital in Knoxville following heart surgery.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Curl; brother, Boyce Curl, and sister, Lois Baylor.
A lifelong member of Shiloh United Methodist Church, he was retired from Magnzvox and employed by First People Bank of Jefferson City.
Surviving are his daughters and sons-in-law, Aileen and Jim Cagley of Knoxville and Joshline and Don Raley and Terri and Sam Combs, all of Rutledge; sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Tiny Curl of Rutledge and Billy and Patty Curl of White Pine; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, J. T. Curl of Rutledge; sisters, Ada Hensley, Estella Williams, Helen Duck, Eva Duck and Leola Stalans, all of Rutledge, and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral was held Friday at 8:30 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Rutledge with Rev. B.J. Hawk and Rev. Richard Mullen officiating.
Graveside services were Saturday at 11 a.m. at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery."
