- ↑ Letter written to U. S. Radio Inspector, 205 Citizens Bank Bldg. Norfolk, Virginia. It states: This will introduce Mr Floyd Brown, who has been in attendence at this school since January 7, 1920, and who desires to take the examination for a commercial second grade radio operators licence.

I, Floyd Brown, a resident of the Township of Manheim, county of Lancaster and State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory, and understanding, do make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking any wills made by me at any time heretofore. First: I order and direct my hereinafter named Executrix to pay all my just debts and funeral expenses. including cost of a suitable marker for my grave, as soon after my death as may be convenient and in accordance with the proper administration of my estate. Second: All the rest, residue and remainter of my estate, I give, divise and bequeath to my wife, Josephine M. Brown, absolutely. If my said wife should predecease me or fail to survive me by thirty days or if we should both be killed in a common accident, then I give, devise and bequeath said residue of my estate, in equal shares , to my three children, Emily Sue, Marian Louise, and Lewis Floyd Brown. the issue of any deceased child to take its parents share, per stirpes. Lastly: I nominate, constitute and appoint my said wife, to be the Executrix of this will, but if said wife should predecease me, then I nominate Lancaster County National Bank as Executor. I authorize and empower my said executor to sell, any real or personal property of which i may die possessed and to give to the purchaser of any real estate a good deed. I appoint the Lancaster County National Bank as testamentary guardian for any of the above named beneficiaries who might be minors.
