Obituary, Wisconsin Rapids Daily Tribune, Monday, 9 May 1966, page 2 Mrs. Harold Clark PLAINFIELD -- Mrs. Harold Clark, 75, a resident of this community for many years and a native of Wisconsin Rapids, died at 1:15 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Hospital, Madison, following a heart attack. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Plainfield Methodist Church. Interment is to be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Wisconsin Rapids. The former Floy Margeson, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Margeson, was born in Wisconsin Rapids Feb. 21, 1891. Following her graduation from Wood County Normal School she taught in the Byron and Rudolph schools. Her marriage to Mr. Clark took place Jan. 2, 1914 in Wisconsin Rapids. They moved to Plainfield in 1922 and later moved to Mauston where he operated a cremery until 1964 when they returned here. Mrs. Clark is survived by her husband; two sons, Merle, Middleton, and Willis, Mauston; five daughters, Mrs. Harry Walker, Plainfield; Mrs. William Footit, Oshkosh; Mrs. Raymond Footit, Mauston; Mrs. Blaine Sparby, Sun Prairie; and Mrs. Leonard Stephens, Blair; a sister, Mrs. Calvin Clark, Wisconsin Rapids, and a brother, Daniel Margeson, Beloit. There are 25 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. |
