Mrs. Flossie Tibke Dies in California
Mrs. Flossie Tibke, 77, a former Bismarck and Carson resident, died Wednesday in Sacramento, Calif. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. (MST) Monday at First Presbyterian Church in Carson. The Rev. Warren A. Bigelow and the Rev. James M. Butler will officiate and burial will be made in Carson Cemetery. Mrs. Tibke was born Aug. 8, 1895, to Frank and Clara (Russell) Brink in Glen Ullin and married Rudolph Tibke,. April 10, 1915, in Mandan. The couple resided on a Carson farm. Following her husband's death on Nov. 10, 1938, Mrs. Tibke moved to Bismarck. She resided here until 1958 and later resided in Montana and New Mexico before moving to Sacramento where she had made her home for eight years. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Fortnightly Clubs of Carson and Bismarck and the Royal Neighbors of America. She leaves the following children: Mrs. Harold (Bernice) Feeney, Pleasant Grove, Calif.; Earl Tibke, Carson; Mrs. Elmer (Doris) Steigman, Bismarck; Howard Tibke," Watertown, S.D.; Allen, Carter and Burton Tibke, all of Sacramento; Roger Tibke, Sioux Falls, S.D.; Mrs. Gary (Carmen) Smith, Houston.
