Florence May Yearling was born on 5th April 1895 at Plymouth in Devon, daughter of Annie Yearling, formerly May, and her husband Thomas Gilbert Yearling, a plasterer and riveter. She appears in the 1901 and 1911 censuses living with her parents and siblings living in Plymouth.
In 1917 Florence married Stanley Pickard. They appear to have had one daughter in 1922.
Florence died in 1988, aged 92.
