Peeples - On September 25, 1942 Florence E. (nee Stauffer), beloved wife of James A. Peeples. Funeral from her late residence, 810 West Thrity-third street, on Monday at 2 P.M. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hampden.

Finding a lock of Florence's hair in the James A Peeples family bible: I remember my mother saying that, "your father's mother always had such beautiful hair). I later saw a snippet of it in the family bible. It was a bright gold that glistened when I held it to the light. James B. Peeples
