-- from Robert Drumm -- Florence was a housewife and mother. The only job she had was teachingschool in French Woods for 1 year.

My most fond memories are of her making usroast beef dinners (and root beer floats for dessert) when we would visitthem on Sundays (not every Sunday, but often enough). Even though I haveher recipe, I still haven't been able to duplicate the taste of thatroast beef.

She died a few weeks before Christmas (I was 14) and must have known thatthe end was near because she had already bought, wrapped and tagged ourgifts.

Died of upper respiratory disease, buried in Riverview Cemetery (Hancock,NY).
