Florence (Mossey) Poissant Poissant, Florence (Mossey) WATERFORD Florence Mossey Poissant, 89, entered into eternal life August 11, 2008 at the Northwoods Rehabilitation Facility in Troy, after a long illness. Born in Cohoes on November 20, 1918, she was the wife of the late Noah J. Poissant and daughter of the late Agnes Sullivan and William Mossey. Florence is also predeceased by her sisters, Lucille (William) Elliott and Irene (John) Shannon. Florence worked for a short time at Troy District Shirt Company but decided to retire to raise her family. She leaves behind her daughter, Florence (Rick) Brisee and her son, Noah (Ann) Poissant; loving grandmother to Angela Morawski, Noah Poissant III, Christopher Poissant, Shallyn Brisee and Justin Brisee and great-grandmother to Dain Morawski, Vanessa Reamer and Jared Lowe. Also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. The family is grateful to the volunteers and staff of Northwoods Rehabilitation facility and Community Hospice for their wonderful care and devotion to Florence. Family and friends may call at the Stanton Farrell Funeral Home, 326 Columbia Street, Cohoes, N.Y. on Thursday, August 14 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral service will be from the funeral home on Friday, August 15 at 1 p.m. Interment following in St. Mary's Cemetery, Waterford, N.Y.
