Syracuse Post Standard, 12 Dec 1987: FLORENCE COLLINS Florence Laun Collins, 61, of 126 Savaria Drive, Lakeland, died Friday at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Syracuse, Mrs. Collins lived in Lakeland 32 years. She was an honorary member of the Lakeside Volunteer Fire Department auxiliary. Surviving are her husband, Erwin; a son, Thomas of Lakeland; three daughters, Donna Luckel of Fairmount, Judy Groesbeck of Camillus and Maureen Bellinger of Lakeland; three sisters, Frances Carrigan and Dorothy Wright, both of Syracuse, and Gertrude Granzow of Baldwinsville; a brother, Charles Wolf of Syracuse; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Pirro & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Leonard Whitney officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
