    Death of Mrs. Eldridge


    Florence, wife of Watson Eldridge of 74 State Street, died yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home of her mother, Mrs. Mary Duggan, 5 Prodpect street, aged 28 years. She underwent an operation a week ago Friday, and on Thanksgiving day she was attacked by pneumonia. From that time she failed steadily in spite of all that could be done for her until her suffering was relieved by death.
    Mrs Eldridge was a native of Chicago, but jad lived in this city for 11 years and had become well acquainted and gained many friends here. She was a member of St. Johns church and was a conscientious and devoted Christian. Her death is an extreme affliction to her family, who have the sympathy of many friends in their great sorrow. Mrs Eldridge leaves besides her husband three young children and a brother, George Jackson, all of this city.
    The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon, at the house at 2.30 and at St. Johns church at 3 o'clock, the service being conducted by Rev. J. C. Tebbetts.
