"Florence Garnon Crumrine, 94, of Green, went to heaven to be embraced by God on January 17, 2010, where God greeted her with well done my good and faithful servant.
Born in Kenmore, she was an area resident all of her life. Florence, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother was a member of Greensburg Church of God for 55 years, where she retired as church secretary at the age of 84.
Florence worked as a Stanley Products dealer for over 30 years, making friends wherever she went. She was also very active in the Green area; serving as a girl scout leader for over 25 years; and as second editor for the Green Township News. She loved all of nature especially the birds she fed and working in her garden.
Welcoming her into heaven were her beloved husband, Charles Sr.; granddaughter, Yvonne Marie; daughter-in-law, Darlene; son-in-law, Roger Lee; and brother, Fred Garnon; she is survived by her devoted family, children... brothers... 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and many other dear relatives and friends.
Visitation Wednesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hecker Funeral Home in Uniontown, where funeral services will be held Thursday 11 a.m. Pastor Michael LeMay officiating.
