Florence Rose Bray was born in 1907 at Burton Pedwardine in Lincolnshire, daughter of a farm labourer named George Henry Bray and his wife Sarah. She appears in the 1911 census living with her parents and sister at Haddington.

In 1938 she married a man named Percy Henry Feary. They do not appear to have had any children.

Florence died in 1963, aged 56.
