    (Marriage took place March 13, 1883) Ira D. McVicker and Miss Flossie E. Hiatt were married yesterday at the residence of the bride's father, four miles north-west of Fort Scott, Rev. C. C. Combs officiating. The groom is a well known farmer of Mill Creek and the bride has for some time been connected with the county school as a teacher. The bride received may elegant presents. Mr. and Mrs. McVicker left yesterday afternoon for a brief visit in Illinois.
