WELL KNOWN LADY TAKEN BY DEATH -- Mrs. Flora Laug Passes Away Suddenly After One Day's Illness. Mrs. Flora Laug, a well known and much esteemed lady of this city and wife of Mr. George Laug, of 329 Miami street passed away last evening at the home at 7:30 o'clock after a acute illness of one day.
Death, from heart trouble complicated by other ailments came rather unexpectedly after a lingering illness of two years. Mrs. Laug was 50 years of age. She was born on a farm east of Piqua, March 17, 1868. She had been actively interested in several women's organizations in the city, being a member of the Ladies of the Maccabees, the Daughters of American and the Christian church.
Surviving Mrs. Laug are her husband, two sons, Richard of Piqua and Howard of Detroit; two sisters, Miss Ida Cox and Mrs. John Alexander.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home. Rev. H.L. Bailey will officiate. The interment will be at Forest Hill cemetery.
