Robert Johnston copied me on much of your correspondence with him. I notice you were wondering about Flora Ann Cargo, so thought I would provide what I know about her.

She was a daughter of Samuel Alexander Cargo and Sarah Malcom. She is show as Ann in the 1850 Blount Co., AL census:

1850 Blount Co., AL Census, pg 130: Samuel A. Cargo, 59, SC; Sarah, 55, VA; Perry, 29, AL; Elizabeth, 26, AL; Mary, 24, AL; Sarah, 21, AL, Ann, 15, AL.

Flora married three times as follows:

1st to Richard Yielding in Blount Co., AL on August 20, 1853. Richard died prior to the 1860 census because she is shown as a widow in the 1860 Blount census. They had at least 2 children: Joesp & Alice.:

1860 Blount Co., AL, Pg 958: Flora Ann Yeilding (widow), 24, AL; Joseph S., 4, AL; Anson, 2 (actually Alice), AL.

2nd she married Bailey Cornelius, a son of Champion Cornelius and Jane Bailey. They married November 8, 1860 in Blount Co. Bailey died during the Cvil War in October 1863. They had one child: William Reuben Cornelius, born abt 1863.

3rd she married John H. Henderson (1837 TN - 1896 TN) in 1867 Giles Co., TN. They had at least 2 children: Samuel (1867) and Sarah (1872).

Flora died 1872-1874. I'm not sure where AL or TN. John H. had remarried in 1874 to Martha Reece.

It seems to me Flora had a rather tragic life - dying at 37-39, losing 2 husbands, and having 7 children by 3 different husbands.
