    Flanders Callaway was the son in law of Daniel Boone and Rebecca Bryan Boone, the husband of Jemima Boone. He was the father of Captain James Callaway. Flanders was with Daniel Boone and a party of men at the rescue of Jemima and the Callaway girls, when they were kidnapped by the Shawnee in 1776.
