JARVIS, Field - b. 4/25/1756 in Westmoreland County, Virginia; moved 1773 to Bedford County, Virginia, where he entered service in 1777; moved in 1781 to Botetourt County (area later became Monroe County), Virginia; granted Pension latter County in 1833; signature on affidavit there in 1835 witnessed by Field A. Jarvis & Sally Jarvis (no kinship stated); query letter in file states Last Will and Testament of a John Jarvis, dated 10/30/1744, Westmoreland County, Virginia, listed sons John & Field & daughters Elenor, Catherine & Jane. F-S5606, R1408.
