Felix M. "Fid" Reffo Sr., 80, of Bradenville, formerly of Seger, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006, at his home. He was born July 3, 1925, in Millwood Shaft, a son of the late Michael Eugene and Amelia Louise Hershbine Reffo.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, of Latrobe, and had retired in 1985 after 42 years of service from Derry Westinghouse.
Felix is survived by his wife of 58 years, Rita L. Loughner Reffo; three daughters, Beverly Haake and husband Alvin, of Derry, Janet Bollinger and husband Charles, of Latrobe, and Sandra Thomas and husband Kenneth, of Torrance; two sons, Keith and wife Michell, of Seger, and Felix M. Jr.; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Teresio, of Seger, and Robert, of Latrobe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Bryant; a grandson, Alvin Stanley Haake Jr.; two brothers, Carl and Eugene; and a sister, Mary Sulkosky.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday in Trinity Lutheran Church, Latrobe, with the pastors of the church officiating. Private interment followed in Coles Cemetery, Derry.
McCabe Funeral Home, Derry, was in charge of the arrangements.
