Felix Hunter Morris III died of cancer Friday, May 29, 2009. He was 58. Born in San Jose, Mr. Morris was raised in Aptos and graduated from Watsonville High School, where he was on the diving and cross-country teams, in 1969. He was an awesome surfer and loved fishing and golfing. Mr. Morris moved to Kauai in 1982, and lived there for 27 years. Mr. Morris and his wife knew each other in elementary school and fell in love later in life. They were married in Kauai in 1997 in a private ceremony attended by his mother.
