MC confirms DOM and DOB and spouse [CU-IL 18; no ID #]; was living in Monmouth before marriage.

1880 census: (from LDS site): age 30, living in Rock Island, IL; carpenter; self employed; parents born PA; married; CU-XX 34].

1880 Holland’s Rock Island City Directory, p. 165: Fayette M. Churchill, carpenter, lives 1520 Sixth Ave in RI. He is not in the 1885 directory.[CU-IL 33].

Cannot find him in 1900 census.

1910 census: age 62, living in Clearfork, Marshall Co., KS with wife Ida and 4 kids; born IL; married 31 years; second marriage; carpenter contractor; not employed 2 months during year; can read/write; owns farm; Clearfork Twp., Marshall Co., KS; ED 65, supervisor’s district 5; enumerated 18-20 April, sheet 2A, p. 71 [CU-XX 35].

SS Death Index has this: Fayette Churchill: born 2 Jan 1901; died 24 Dec 1987, SS# 211-05-8523; issued PA; last residence Delhi, Merced Co., CA [CU-IL 34]. Could this be a son? If so, he was not living with family in 1910 and he does not show up in census index.
