Lieutenant Farquhar Gray Tinn may have died in 1910; there is a death notice 16 nov1910 in Galloway Advertiser (?); possibly the date has been misread. From a website on Colmonell war memorial: Farquhar Gray Tinn, Lieutenant in 5th (City of Glasgow) Battalion (Territorial) Highland Light Infantry, died 6nov1916; he is buried at Colmonell. National Archives, Kew, have the medal card of Tinn Farquhar Gray, Highland Light Infantry, Lieut. (1914-20). Farquhar’s birth is registered dec1878 in Barton Regis, Gloucestershire (bmd index). Farquhar and Ann probably had a son, Farquhar Gray George Tinn, who was an actor and who married the ballerina Nina Tarakanova (b.1905).
