Obituary from Stockbridge paper, The Brief-Sun, January 12, 1933 Mrs. Fannie Bott, wife of Edwin Bott, 74-year-old resident of Stockbridge passed away at her home Wednesday morning, January 11 at about 2: o'clock. Mr. and Mrs. Bott have lived in the vicinity of the village all of their lives, and have resided in the village proper for the past 27 years. Mrs. Bott had been sick for the past four years and nine months. A stroke of paralysis is said to be the direct cause of her death. She is survived by one son, one daughter, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren all living. Funeral services will be held at the home on Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, and burial will be in the Stockbridge cemetery. Obituary from Stockbridge paper, The Brief-Sun, January 19, 1933 Fannie Willmore Bott, daughter of Ellen and Thomas Willmore, was born July 2, 1858 in Waterloo Township and had spent practically all her life in and around Stockbridge until she was called by death, January 11, 1933. She was graduated from Jackson High School in 1877. She then taught school in this vicinity until her marriage to Edmund J. Bott, November 23, 1881. To this union were born Dr. Thomas L. Bott of Coldwater and Anna L. Sawyer of Mason. She is also survived by her husband, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Mapes of Stockbridge and Mrs. Victoria Thompson of Miami, Oklahoma and many other relatives and friends. |
