Faize J. Nahas, of 23 East Centre street, Mahanoy City, was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Ashland State Hospital at 12:15 a.m. today. Born in Shenandoah, a son of the late Charles and Helen Nahas, he worked as a machinist and was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Shenandoah. He was graduated in 1930 from Shenandoah Catholic High School. Surviving are two sisters: Miss Shafea Nahas, at home; Adele, wife of John Radwin, of Mahanoy City, and two nephews Charles of Bristol, and John, New York. A brother Fred died in 1961.
Funeral services will be Friday at 9 a.m. from the Oravitz Home for Funerals, 38-40 North Jardin street. Requiem Mass will be offered at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mercy Church. Burial will be in the Annunciation BVM Cemetery.
