Scott, Ezra A. 90 08/29/1919-01/14/2010 Ezra Scott retired as a chief warrant officer from the Oregon National Guard. After blessing us for 90 years, Ezra Scott was met in Heaven by his loving wife, Betty. He was an avid fisherman and talented woodworker. With a quick wit, mischievous smile and huge heart, Ezra made friends wherever he went and had a special way with children and animals. Husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend - there was no role in which he did not shine. He is survived by his children, Sandra Allen, Gail Bakken, Greg Drais, Gary Drais and Gene Drais, 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Dortha Vancil; and brother, Robert Scott. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, in Oakwood Hill Funeral Chapel, Tacoma. "Have fun fishin' in Heaven, Great Papa Scott." We love you and will forever keep you in our hearts. |
