    "(IV) Ezekiel, third child of Joshua and Joanna (Studley) Soule, born in Duxbury, February 17, 1711, died at Woolwich, Maine, December 8, 1799, whither he removed in 1766. He was chosen deacon of the church in 1749 and wan an important advisor in its affairs. He married, at Duxbury, January 4, 1733, Hannah Delano, who died September 25, 1768, aged fifty years. Among their children was John."
